So, see you soon when all that delicious stuff will show up !

Arabian buildings concept art

Hi guys,

This is some concept art I did a few weeks ago for a studio in Vancouver.
I can’t tell you anything about that…not yet.

Just say those won’t be used so I can put it on my blog ^^

Hellgate Monster

[ this isn’t related to the game Hellgate: London, it’s just a random title ]

Hi folks,

Here is a monster to change from my previous stuff.
The head variations are pretty useless, I give that.
After doing the color variations on the arms, I would like to do redo the entire character sticking to the first variation.

Here is a close up of the lava, because….hum, because nothing, it’s free guys !

The gate to Yith…

- “Hey, WTF ?!
A final piece again ?”
- ” huuu, Yep ! ”
Nothing to say about that. I made it up 2 month ago.
Here is the rough I painted over :

Terraformers

Hi !

I almost never show final pieces here, well, I will make an exception with this one ^^
( I’m running out of crapy rough and unfinished stuff actually ^^ )

So this is an environmental concept piece I did a couple of month.
Those spaceships are Terraformers and they’re feeding the ground, changing the air and you know, doing stuff terraformer ship usually do…

I don’t have any step by step here but my base rough I painted over.
( If you are interested by some steps I CAN find it in my photoshop layers it but I doubt anyone will be interested ^^ )

Painting practice - A dark beauty

Hi guys,

A little exercice to pratice my paintings skills…
From Ferdinand Keller, painted in….humm…a long time ago ^^ ( if someone have any idea of the date, let me know please ^^ ).
This was a tough one, very challenging for me…

Photoshop, about 5/6 hours.

A nobody-cares-about-it-step-by-step will come soon.

Speedy ( purring ) Catwoman

Hi guys,

A catwoman speedpainting tribute did a few weeks ago.
I focused again on light, and the glossy latex suit was a good training for that ^^
Less than 1h.

Random practice - A coign of Vantage

Hi guys,

For practicing, I often copy paintings from Classical masters.
Here is a sample of A coign of Vantage, painted by Sir Lawrence Alma in 1895.

Lot of fun with this piece, about 4 hours.

A useless step by step here :

A little experiment done a few month ago…I kinda like it.

I focused more on light/value/reflect. I would had polished the body and arms a little bit more but I don’t want to spend more time on it.
Less than 1 hour.
